EPICUREAN SCHOOL OF CULINARY ARTS was founded in Los Angeles in 1985. It was the first cooking school in Los Angeles to offer a comprehensive Professional Program teaching classic French techniques that allowed students to enter the culinary world in as few as 25 weeks. The program was developed by Culinary Institute of America graduates based on a condensed version of their own program.
In the past 21 years our curriculum has expanded to accommodate beginners and recreational chefs as well as those who wish to embark upon a career in the food industry. Many students who come to us have extensively researched Los Angeles cooking schools and choose Epicurean for its reputation and staff.
